VOTA staat voor Voortgezet Onderwijs Twente en de Achterhoek en is een samenwerkingsverband van zes zelfstandige VO-scholen en een school voor middelbaar beroepsonderwijs: De Waerdenborch, OSG Hengelo, Het Erasmus, Het Stedelijk Lyceum, Het Assink lyceum, het Staring College en ROC van Twente (mbo).
Zij hebben de krachten gebundeld en gaan via VOTA gezamenlijk aan de slag met de gevolgen van regionale krimp en het dreigend lerarentekort.

WHO ARE YOU?

With your passion for English, you see it as a fun challenge to provide your lessons at an international school. You are someone who feels at home connecting with students, colleagues and parents from different year groups and cultural backgrounds. You think in terms of opportunities and possibilities. You demonstrate this in your development-oriented approach.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As an English teacher you are indispensable to our students by:

• teaching and guiding students in a coaching manner;
• teaching classes entirely in English in an International Baccalaureate and Cambridge IGCSE school;
• contributing to our school across subjects and departments;

Functie eisen

WHAT DO YOU BRING?

• English qualification (1st/2nd degree or equivalent) or you are in the final phase of your education;
• work experience as an English teacher is an advantage;
• teaching experience at an international school is an advantage;
• positive and development-oriented mindset;
• Professional attitude, coaching skills and independence;

• Salary in scale LB (€3463 to €5277 gross per month)
• Fixed-term employment with permanent potential.

At the International School Twente (IST), we are ready for our students with 35 enthusiastic and committed colleagues. We are part of Het Stedelijk and within IST English is our working language.
