Job opening: Family Assistant | Bloemendaal (live-in option available)

We are immediately seeking a reliable, independent Family Assistant for long-term employment with a family in Bloemendaal. The role involves managing the household and providing presence, calm, and continuity.

About the family

The family consists of two parents, two teenagers, and three dogs. The children are independent and can cope well on their own. What is important is that there is an adult present who provides structure and has natural authority.

• During the week, Dad is often at work, traveling, or home late.
• Mother works abroad during the week.
• Housekeeping (twice a week), gardener, and dog walking service available;

Important: you will often be home alone. It is essential that you are comfortable with this and can handle it independently.

The role of

As a Family Assistant, you are responsible for the day-to-day running of the household and are a permanent, reliable presence in the home. Presence, independence, and ownership are central to this role.

Work

• Being present and keeping track of things at home;
• Helping the children get started in the morning;
• Daily cooking and grocery shopping;
• Light housework;
• Coordinating and managing external assistance;
• A natural, respectful authority toward the children;
• Occasionally available in the evenings and on weekends;

There is room to study, take a course, or have your own projects alongside this role.

Working hours and form

• Full-time, 5 days a week;
• Minimum 3 days live-in, permanent live-in also possible;
• Flexibility in evenings and weekends;
• Traveling with us is not necessary.

• Bathroom;

No private entrance, but plenty of privacy. Living with a partner is possible in consultation if there is a good match.

What does this position offer?

• Working as a Family Assistant for a private family;
• Salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month based on 40 hours. For full-time live-in positions, an appropriate housing allowance will be deducted from this amount.
