Functieomschrijving

For a warm and entrepreneurial family, we are looking for an experienced and committed Family Assistant/Nanny. This role is a combination of caring for the children and bringing peace and structure to the household.

About the family

The family consists of parents with two young children. They value clear norms and values, combined with attention to the children's feelings, self-will and development. Parenting is done in a calm, structured way, in which boundaries, calmness and involvement are central.

Role

The Family Assistant/Nanny becomes an extension of the family: someone who provides structure, keeps the household in order while lovingly guiding the children. This includes support during the afternoon and evening rituals, help with tidying up, laundry and inventory management, and creating an organized and pleasant living environment together.

There is also the occasional need for business support (such as arranging flowers or tickets), flexibility for an evening or weekend and occasional availability to travel with them during vacations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Household support: tidying, laundry and inventory management.
• Guidance during the afternoon and evening routine;
• Picking up, guiding and supporting children in their daily routines.
• Thinking along and bringing structure to the house (including organization)
• Occasional business support.
• Flexibly available for occasional evenings/weekends and vacations.

Profile of the Family Assistant/Nanny

• Experienced and independent;
• Practical minded, approachable, can bring structure.
• Open and clear communication.
• In possession of driver's license and car (parking available).
