Family Assistant Denmark

For a warm, energetic and international family in the south of Denmark, we are looking for a dedicated and all-round Family Assistant. In this position you will be an extension of the family: you will supervise the children with attention, provide structure in daily life and support the parents in and around the household.

The role is available as a live-in or live-out position. You will be based in a peaceful and natural environment near the sea and be part of a loving family that is consciously raising with a focus on health, balance and connection.

About the family

The family consists of two parents, four young children and a sweet dog. The children are currently 8, 6, 4 and almost 2 years old. They grow up in a bilingual environment (Danish & English) and spend a lot of time outside. Father works full time as a speaker/teacher, mother is at home with the youngest children.

Parenting focuses on positive approach, open communication, and encouraging independence. The family is active, enjoys healthy eating, exercise, and seeks a Family Assistant to complement them in this lifestyle.

Your role as Family Assistant

You provide calmness, overview and continuity in the daily structure. You support in the care of the children, are an involved and loving point of contact for them, and take on light organizational and household tasks. You are energetic, flexible, enterprising and independent. You enjoy working in a natural environment and have fun working with children of different ages.

Activities (among others):

Support morning and evening routines

Drop off/pick up from school, daycare and activities Active supervision of play, outdoor activities and creative development Preparing healthy meals for the family Light domestic support around the children

Coordination and coordination with parents on daily schedule, structure and practical matters Ensuring a positive, safe and relaxed atmosphere in the home

Who are we looking for?

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (Nanny / Family Assistant) Affinity with children aged 0-9 years Organizationally strong and able to maintain an overview Someone who loves nature, tranquility and dynamics of a young family
