Functieomschrijving

We are looking for a committed and proactive Nanny/FA with a background in education for a warm, quiet, and athletic family with three energetic boys. The family is loving and close-knit, enjoys playing outside, and undertakes fun activities together.

The parents work from home a lot; the mother is studying and the father is regularly on the road, but also works partly from home. They are looking for a Nanny/FA who will become part of the family in a natural and familiar way, with plenty of room for initiative and autonomy.

The position of

In this role, you combine loving care for the children with the smooth organization of daily family life. On your working days, you will be the main point of contact, providing overview and structure and creating a pleasant atmosphere in the home. You will think ahead, adapt quickly, and have a good sense of what is needed to ensure that afternoons, sports activities, and family logistics run smoothly and relaxed. On Wednesdays, you will work together with the mother.

Work includes:

• Picking up and dropping off from school, sports, and activities;
• Undertake active and creative activities with the boys (playing outside, crafts, cooking/baking, treasure hunts, games)
• Connecting with what every child needs, emotionally and practically;
• Encourage children to help out and tidy up;
• Organize sports and school planning smoothly (prepare bags/clothing, collect items after training sessions)
• Light housekeeping and keeping the house neat/representative;
• Laundry care (folding, tidying up)
• Inventory management and (online) shopping;
• Occasionally cooking for the children;
• Monitoring screen time and setting positive boundaries We are looking for an experienced and warm nanny who knows how to combine strength and gentleness in her guidance. You have a good feel for the dynamics of three smart, energetic boys, take initiative, and can set boundaries in a loving way. You are someone who makes the home a fun place, really sees the children, and wants to become part of the family.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a background in education and demonstrable nanny experience;
• Proactive and forward-thinking;
• Setting boundaries calmly and empathetically (not authoritatively)
• Brings positive energy and has fun with the children;
• Communicates directly, openly, and clearly;
• Being comfortable with a cargo bike;

The conditions

• Hours: 30 hours per week;
• Working days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday;
• Times/days:
• Wednesday & Friday: 8:30/9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Monday or Tuesday afternoon: 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
• Additional hours available during study days and school vacations;
• Start: as soon as possible;
• Salary indication between € 3500 - € 4500 gross per month based on 40 hours;
• Coaching and mentoring by TFA;
