About the Family

For a warm, energetic and internationally oriented family with three children, we are looking for a committed and proactive Family Assistant. The family consists of a teenage girl in high school and two younger children of elementary school age.

The position

The position is a combination of the care and guidance of the children as well as keeping the daily family organization running smoothly. You are the permanent point of contact in the home during the mornings and afternoons/evenings and provide structure, sociability and overview. You take ownership, act independently and bring positive energy.

Work includes:

• Pick up and drop off from school and activities;
• Organizing playdates;
• Encouraging children to clean up and help out;
• Cooking for the children and preparing healthy meals;
• Light housekeeping and keeping the house neat/representative;
• Taking care of laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
• Inventory management and (online) shopping;
• Organizing children's parties including treats;
• Monitor and limit screen time in a positive way;

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an independent, flexible and warm Family Assistant who can switch well in a lively family with children of different ages.

You sense what is needed, take initiative and dare to be clear in a loving way. You are emotionally involved with the children, can set boundaries and enjoy building peace and structure in the home.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is proactive and sees work ahead;
• Can move flexibly with changing family schedules;
• Takes ownership and picks up business independently;
• Brings positive energy and makes it fun in the home;
• Sensing the children well and providing a safe, warm base;
• Direct and open communication;

The conditions

• Hours: 30 hours per week, spread over 4 days;
• Working days: Monday through Thursday;
• Times: split shift: Morning: 07.00 - 09.00/10.00, afternoon/evening: 14.00 - 19.00, occasionally additional evenings;
• Start: February 2026;
• Salary indication between € 3500 - € 4500 gross per month based on 40 hours;
• Coaching and mentoring by TFA;
