Functieomschrijving

We are looking for an experienced, loving, and reliable live-in nanny for a warm and enterprising family in De Bilt. This nanny position is ideal for a professional nanny who enjoys working within a family and derives energy from creating peace, structure, and a safe environment for children.

About the family

The family consists of two parents and two young children. They are looking for a nanny who shares their values: clear standards and values, calmness, structure, and attention to the emotional and personal development of the children. Their parenting style is calm, consistent, and involved. You will regularly work alongside the mother, who works part-time and is partly at home.

The role of

As a live-in nanny, you will be a familiar and trusted face within the family. You will guide the children in their daily routines and support the family in ensuring that the day runs smoothly. The focus is on care, guidance, and educational support, supplemented by light, child-oriented household tasks.

This position is ideal for an experienced nanny, private nanny, or home childcare provider who works independently and is willing to take responsibility.

Duties and responsibilities

• Daily care and supervision of the children;
• Support with afternoon and evening routines;
• Keeping the house tidy and presentable;
• Picking up and accompanying children to and from school/daycare/activities;
• Bringing structure and calm to family life;
• Light household tasks (tidying up, laundry, stock management)
• Cooking and shopping;
• Contributing ideas about organization and daily schedules within the family;
• Occasionally available for flexible work in the evenings or on weekends;
• Possibility to travel during vacations;

Profile: who are we looking for?

• Experienced Nanny;
• Warm, calm, sensitive, and committed;
• Independent, dependable, and practical;
• Strong in structure, planning, and overview;
• Open and clear communication style;
• Possession of a driver's license and own car (parking available)
• Experience with or skilled in using a cargo bike;
• Preference for a Christian Nanny;
