Nanny / Family Assistant Haarlem

Are you a loving, enterprising, and independent Nanny / Family Assistant who knows how to create calm in a dynamic family? For a warm and caring family in Haarlem, we are looking for a Nanny / Family Assistant who will participate in daily family life and enjoy taking care of three young children.

The family consists of three children aged between 2 and 6. The parents work full-time from home and attach great importance to raising their children together, setting clear boundaries, and communicating openly and honestly. You will be seen as a full member of the team and will be given a lot of trust and freedom to make decisions independently.

Job Description As a Nanny / Family Assistant, you will support the parents in the daily care and supervision of the children. You will provide structure, oversight, and a pleasant atmosphere in the home, while responding to the different needs of each child. You are enterprising, see what needs to be done, and enjoy being active with the children, both indoors and outdoors.

The focus is on providing peace, attention, and exercise, combined with light domestic support for the family.

You are responsible for:

• Daily care and supervision of the children;
• Actively engaging in fun and educational activities, indoors and outdoors;
• Preparing (and possibly cooking) snacks and meals;
• Accompanying children to activities such as soccer, toddler gym, or swimming lessons;
• Working together with the parents, both working from home;
• Light household chores such as laundry and dishwasher, etc.
• Doing the shopping and delivering parcels;
• Keeping the house presentable;

Job Profile We are looking for someone who:

• Loving, calm, and confident;
• Proactive, independent, and enterprising;
• Good at dealing with a lively family;
• Brings peace and structure;
• Has pedagogical training or relevant experience;
• Flexible availability (including occasional evenings or weekends)
• Speaks Dutch;
• Feeling comfortable in a family where everyone works together;
• Lives in the Haarlem area;

• A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on experience and education.

Working days and hours

• Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Additional work during school holidays, study days, evenings, or weekends is possible in consultation.
