We bieden met SILFO openbaar en algemeen bijzonder onderwijs, met onze scholen voor primair en voortgezet onderwijs. Daarbij richten we ons ook op het verzorgen van internationaal onderwijs.

What can you expect from us?

• A temporary replacement appointment starting from November 2025;
• Salary grading takes place in scale LB (min. € 3.463,- max € 5.277,-) regarding collective agreement for secondary education (CAO VO);

• You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
• An understanding and knowledge of different cultural backgrounds;
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team;
• Willingness to embrace the conceptual approach and innovative practices of the IB MYP;
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different Humanities disciplines;
• Skill in using differentiation effectively to support students with varying abilities in the classroom.

The job

We are seeking for a Physical Health Education Teacher for a part-time role (FTE 0.8) in a replacement appointment. You will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their physical skills, personal well-being, and understanding of healthy lifestyles. Through active lessons and positive reinforcement, you will inspire students to take ownership of their physical development and to collaborate effectively with others.

As part of a supportive and enthusiastic team, you will contribute to the wider school community and work closely with colleagues to deliver the Physical Health Education curriculum in line with our educational philosophy. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a student-centred approach, and a commitment to promoting lifelong healthy habits.
