We bieden met SILFO openbaar en algemeen bijzonder onderwijs, met onze scholen voor primair en voortgezet onderwijs. Daarbij richten we ons ook op het verzorgen van internationaal onderwijs.
In het onderwijs wordt aandacht geschonken aan persoonsvorming door kennis opdoen en leren, maar zeker ook door competenties te ontwikkelen en door dóen. De aandacht voor persoonlijke, sociale en culturele ontwikkeling kenmerkt ons onderwijs. What can you expect from us?

• A full time appointment for the new school year 2025-2026, starting 15 August 2025;
• Salary grading takes place in scale LC (min. € 3.484,- max € 6.149,-);

This is what we ask of you

• Previous experience or enthusiasm for the IB programmes and international education;
• You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
• You are a skillful communicator, both orally and in writing;
• Take the lead in supporting, mentoring, and guiding the members of the department;
• Maintain a positive and collegial atmosphere within the department;
• You are committed to international-mindedness and the ISE Guiding Statements.

The job

The subject leaders are middle leaders who are responsible for developing and reviewing the capacities of the department members, to support the implementation of the school’s policies, to work with individual members of the department to organize, develop, document and deliver the education within the department and to promote the mission, vision and values of the ISE and the IB. This role is in combination with a teaching commitment.

In addition to this task, you will provide an inspiring teaching and learning environment where students can grow, flourish and experience success in the subject. You will collaborate with colleagues and teams (from different arts disciplines) to support each student to develop their competencies in order to reach their full potential.
