Functieomschrijving

Are you a loving, patient, and committed nanny who enjoys helping children with their homework? We are looking for a nanny for a warm and lively family in Wassenaar with four boys aged 2 to 9 who can offer structure, calm, and support, particularly in the areas of learning and development.

Job Description

In this role, you will be an important source of support for mothers and a trusted point of contact for children. The focus is on supervising children after school, with homework assistance and support with learning processes being central. You know how to meet the needs of school-age children and provide a safe, stimulating environment in which they can develop to their full potential.

Work

As a Nanny, you are responsible for:

• Supporting mothers in the daily care of their children;
• Picking up the children from school;
• Putting the children to bed and assisting with the evening routine;
• Transportation to after-school activities such as horseback riding, rugby, and swimming lessons;
• Intensive homework guidance and learning support;
• Support for children who need extra attention with learning and concentration;
• Responding flexibly and calmly to changing situations within the family;

Job description

We are looking for a Nanny who:

• Loving, patient;
• Strong in teaching and education;
• A background in education or extensive experience with homework assistance;
• Experience with ADHD and dyslexia;
• Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Setting clear and consistent boundaries;
• Takes initiative and responds well to the needs of the family;
• Active, enterprising, and hands-on;
• Good command of the Dutch language;
• In possession of a driver's license;

What do we offer?

• A warm and caring family with four boys in Wassenaar;
• A long-term part-time position (30 hours per week)
• A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on experience and education.
• Coaching and guidance from The Family Assistant during the collaboration;

Working days and hours

Other hours are accrued for occasional weekend days or during school vacations:

• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
