De Stichting draagt zorg voor een gezonde financiële huishouding, goede huisvesting voor leerlingen en medewerkers, professionele leergemeenschappen, het werven van enthousiast en kundig personeel en facilitering op het gebied van ICT. Bovendien is de Stichting, als "bevoegd gezag", eindverantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van het onderwijs.
Ze legt daarover verantwoording af aan het ministerie van Onderwijs en de onderwijsinspectie. In het kader van de verticale verantwoording wordt het jaarverslag besproken met verschillende belanghebbenden zoals de beide gemeenschappelijke medezeggenschapsraden op stichtingsniveau en de medezeggenschapsraden en ouderraden op schoolniveau.
Functieomschrijving
Primary Teacher - Maternity Cover
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and flexible Teacher of Primary Education in the Netherlands to start on the 20th January 2025. This is a temporary position for a Maternity Leave.
The position is for 5 days a week and is based on the Dutch collective labour agreement (CAO PO) for primary education, scale LB.

The contract offered to the successful applicant will be until the end of the current school year (31-07-2025).
We are looking for a teacher who meets the following:
Requirements:
Permission to live and work in the European Union
A teaching degree: Bachelor in Primary Education or PGCE plus Qualified Teacher Status
Experience teaching across the full primary range
A positive, kind disposition and philosophical alignment with our Guiding Statements
Experience with, or knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) or PYP
Ability to speak and write in English at a native level or near native level
Skills and Competencies:
Demonstrates a collaborative spirit with a global perspective in education
Possesses strong communication skills to engage with all members of the school community
Facilitates inquiry-based learning experiences
Promotes curiosity among students and employs creative and innovative methods to enrich learning

We offer:
a holiday allowance of 8% of the gross annual salary (paid in May every year)
an end-of-year allowance: 8,33% of the gross annual salary (paid in December every year)
end of scale payment: €1591,09 (paid in August every year) if applicable

All amounts mentioned above are gross based on 1 FTE and calculated pro rata.
