Bovendien is de Stichting, als "bevoegd gezag", eindverantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van het onderwijs.
Ze legt daarover verantwoording af aan het ministerie van Onderwijs en de onderwijsinspectie. In het kader van de verticale verantwoording wordt het jaarverslag besproken met verschillende belanghebbenden zoals de beide gemeenschappelijke medezeggenschapsraden op stichtingsniveau en de medezeggenschapsraden en ouderraden op schoolniveau.

ESH is seeking to recruit an individual for our secondary school who is first and foremost student-centred, but also driven and knowledgeable in teaching the European Romanian curriculum. Our aim is to make a difference in the lives of the students we teach, not only in the academic setting of the classroom, but socially and emotionally, too. About the Role

As a Teacher of Romanian, you will:

Deliver engaging lessons to students aged 11-18, following the European Baccalaureate curriculum.
Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student’s talent is nurtured.

Enjoy competitive benefits. We offer a salary aligned with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO VO). The salary is a minimum of €3463 and a maximum of €5277 for a full-time contract on the LB scale. The salary scale and the step offered will depend on your level of experience.
A permanent position, subject to recognition of your teaching qualifications by Dutch Education Authorities (DUO) and the successful completion of a one-year probationary period.

What we are looking for

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Romanian Language / Romanian Literature (First-degree/Eerste graads) and full teaching qualification for Secondary Education (recognized by the Dutch Education Authorities (DUO).
You hold a fully qualified teacher status for Secondary Education in the country the qualification is obtained
Native speaker of Romanian
Experience in teaching Romanian to native speakers
Experience in teaching the age group of 11-18
Experience in international or intercultural education
Good ICT skills and an understanding of ICT use in an educational context
Start Date

The appointed person will start on 1 August 2025
